From Nov. 6th to Nov. 12th "The Best of the West" Trad Tour visited Galway, Clare, Kerry and Cork for six days of non-stop music and dancing. The following are just a few of the pictures taken as we enjoyed sessions and ceilidhs. We were honored to have spent three nights in the Crane Bar in Galway with such talents as Fil Campbell (Co. Down), Mary McPartlan (Galway), Dessie & John O'Halloran (Inishbofin), Mick Crehan (owner of the Crane) and many other local and visiting musicians. In Miltown Malbay we were joined by the Simpletones, for a great rainy afternoon session in Tom Malone's Pub and Markethouse. Our final night was spent in the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis with Michael Hynes and Peter Griffin for one last blast of dancing. A great time was had by all. More pictures to come!
